FAQs

  • What is IV therapy?

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients directly into your bloodstream, allowing for faster absorption compared to oral supplements. This method helps replenish essential nutrients, hydrate the body, and address specific health and wellness goals quickly and effectively.

  • What are the benefits of IV therapy compared to taking oral vitamins?

IV therapy provides immediate and more effective absorption of nutrients. While oral vitamins must pass through the digestive system, limiting the amount absorbed, IV drips deliver nutrients directly into the bloodstream, ensuring nearly 100% absorption and quicker results.

  • How long does an IV drip session take?

Most IV therapy sessions last between 60-90 minutes. The exact time may vary depending on the type of drip you choose and your body's response to the therapy. Our professionals will monitor your progress to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

  • What are the side effects of IV therapy?

Side effects are rare but can include mild discomfort at the injection site, bruising, or lightheadedness. Our staff is trained to monitor for any signs of adverse reactions, and we take every precaution to ensure your safety. We encourage clients to communicate any discomfort during their session.

  • Can I add an intramuscular (IM) injection to my IV visit?

Yes! You can enhance your IV therapy with a quick IM injection. Popular IM injections include B12, Glutathione, and Vitamin D. Adding these boosts your body’s energy and recovery, making your session even more effective.

  • How often should I get IV therapy or IM injections?

The frequency of IV therapy and IM injections depends on your health goals. Some clients come weekly for energy boosts, while others visit monthly for maintenance. During your initial consultation, we can help create a schedule that suits your needs.

  • What is your mobile IV service, and do you charge travel fees?

Our mobile service brings IV hydration and vitamin therapy directly to your home, office, or event. There is a $75 travel fee for locations within 30 minutes of our IV lounge. For farther locations, the fee is an additional $25 for every 15 minutes of travel. Travel fees may be shared by multiple clients who receive an IV in the same visit.

  • Do you offer group discounts or special packages for events?

Yes, we provide group discounts for wellness events, bridal parties, corporate wellness, and more. Group sessions are a great way to ensure everyone feels energized and hydrated. Contact us to learn more about our group rates and packages.

  • Is IV therapy safe?

Yes, IV therapy is very safe when administered by trained professionals. At Thrive Wellness, all IVs and IM injections are performed by licensed medical professionals who follow strict safety protocols to ensure the best care.

  • What should I expect during my first visit?

Before your session, your practitioners will review your medical history form with you to ensure that IV therapy is suitable for you. You will also have your vital signs checked before starting the drip. During the session, you'll relax in a comfortable setting, and the entire process will be closely monitored by our team.

  • Are there any contraindications for receiving IV therapy?

IV therapy may not be recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions, such as uncontrolled heart disease, severe kidney disease, or allergies to the additives used. During your consultation, our staff will review your medical history to ensure it’s safe for you.

  • What is the cost of IV therapy, and do you offer any packages or membership options?

The cost of IV therapy varies depending on the type of drip you choose. We also offer package deals and memberships that provide savings for clients who want to receive regular treatments. Check out the "IV Therapy" page or contact us for more information on current offers.
